Behind the Czech brand RBART is the artistic welder and designer Richard Bučina.
Richard Bučina was born on 29 April 1987 in Prague and has been interested in art since childhood. At a young age he began studying at the Dance Centre Prague-Conservatoire art school, after which he continued to dance. He collaborated with Czech and foreign choreographers and travelled around Europe, which allowed him to perceive the wide range of art around him.
What led him from dance to working with metal and wood was his desire to create something tangible, something that would bring him joy and was not only beautiful but also practical. "The combination of these desires led me to create original lamps that bring light every day" says Richard. Therefore, his designs incorporate lighting elements that not only illuminate a space, but also add an artistic element to everyday life.
Richard Bučina creates unique design pieces that combine the rawness of industrial materials with the beauty of natural elements. His art appeals to a wide range of art and design lovers who appreciate his unique approach and creativity.
